Rob and Beth Worthington – “a place of new beginnings”

God works in truly great ways!  We have seen His blessings on our family as we have grown from a family of six, to now having 4 grand children with one on the way!  We have one wedding coming up in October of this year with Sharon to her fiancé Chris.  They both serve in Iraq as civilian contractors and they both work with UAV’s.  Crystal our oldest is in Wyoming with her husband and two boys, Bobby is in Florida with his wife and son, and Cheryl with our only granddaughter is in PA.  Didn’t think I would ever be this old!  But grand kids are great!     [...]

Hispanic Think Tank – Feb 10, 2017

Encouraging and Equipping in Two Languages by Wanda Taylor (Hispanic Ministries with Baptist Church Planters) "It was a big blessing. Thank you to the committee for making it possible. Thank you to all the attendees for the warm fellowship. Onward!" These were words from one of the ministry leaders who attended the Hispanic Think Tank on Friday, February 10 in Chandler, AZ. The Hispanic Think Tank, also known as the National Conference on Hispanic Outreach, (NaCHO) has previously been held the past three years in Greenville, SC. This was the first time that this ministry opportunity was made available out west. Originally started through the efforts of Herb Taylor (Coordinator [...]

Missionary Update – Feb. 14

Dr. Mike and Karen Peck – BCP Author and Family Counselor Wednesday, February 15 Over the weekend Karen had a significant setback with pneumonia-like symptoms as a side effect of her chemo medicine. She has been on steroids and an antibiotic since Saturday afternoon. Today she seems a little better. On Tuesday she will see a lung specialist. These are days that the cancer battle rages rather intensely. Thanks everyone for your prayers. This morning Karen and I read, "God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble. Therefore will not we fear...Be still and know that I am God" (Psalm 46:1-2,10). Whatever your trouble, He is [...]

Roy and Karen Kinney – looking forward to 2017!

We have seen God's hand of blessing in 2016 and look forward to what He has in store ahead. FAMILY BLESSINGS: Our family has grown!  Kaia-Ann Grace Hansen was officially adopted into our family in November and Leroy & Kiersten were married Thanksgiving weekend.  November was a full month of celebrating! Our family gatherings consist of 16 people with all of us plus spouses, grandkids, foster children, and foster grandchildren.  That is a full life of blessings as each one loves the Lord and serves in our local church. CHURCH BLESSINGS: We have what this second largest city in all of New England needs...the life saving Gospel to share with [...]

Meet Tim and Susan Heinrich in CA

John 14:1-3 says, “Let not your heart be troubled...In My Father’s house are many mansions; if it were not so, I would have told you. I go to prepare a place for you. And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again and receive you to Myself; that where I am, there you may be also.” This Christmas, Crossroads Baptist Church in Tracy, CA, had a special program where each family brought a presentation of part of the Christmas story. There were readings, drama, music and multimedia presentations. As the program drew to a close, we began to see that God had orchestrated it all, [...]

Missionary Update – Dec. 29

Paul and Janet Robinson – Church Planters at Cornerstone Bible Baptist Church in Camden, NJ Prayer Letter On the night of Jesus' birth, the angel announced to the shepherds, "...behold, I bring you good tidings of great joy, which shall be to all people. For unto you is born this day in the city of David a Savior, which is Christ the Lord" (Luke 2:10-11). This is the same message that we have been sharing with the children, teens and adults of Camden, New Jersey. In the past year, we have seen many accepted the Good News and receive Christ as their personal Savior! In February, we baptized a lady [...]

Missionary highlight – Miguel and Ana Maria Quintana

“But we have this treasure in earthen vessels, so that the surpassing greatness of the power will be of God and not from ourselves” (2 Corinthians 4:7). Our trip to Colombia in June was very fruitful. We saw the hand of God continually guiding us.  I was able to preach at the Nueva Vida (New Life) Baptist Church.  We also had many opportunities to preach, encourage and persuade family and friends to remain faithful to the Lord.  Another highlight was that my mother celebrated her 83rd birthday when we were visiting the family.  During the trip, we were able to be in both Bogota and Medellin before returning home on [...]

Missionary highlight – Carlos and Issa Vasquez

Carlos and Issa Vasquez - Church planters in Hayward, CA Forty people crowded in a garage, Sunday School classes held in the living room and bedrooms, baptisms in a portable plastic swimming pool in the parking lot and services on Sunday afternoons in the facility of an English-speaking ministry . . . that’s all part of the history of Iglesia Biblical la Roca – Bautista Independiente in Hayward, CA. This ministry, led by our BCP church planters, Carlos and Issa Vasquez, continues to reach Hispanics for Christ in the San Francisco Bay area of California.  Presently, however, the Vasquez family is facing a deep personal trial as Issa continues to struggle [...]

Nearing the end–can God use you to help?

Adam and Elizabeth Zamora and Wayne and Shanna Dale in Buckeye, AZ By the grace of God they will see the completion of a permanent building for Desert Hills Baptist Church in the next two months! It has been a challenging construction, but God has overcome each issue, and He gets all the glory! Many of God’s people, individuals, churches, BCP and agencies, have been involved in bringing them to this point. There are several ways you can still help:  1) Please pray that they will be able to get a Certificate of Occupancy by mid-December. 2) Please pray that God will supply the budget deficit of $350,000.  3)  Please pray [...]
