This year our theme is “Committed to the Great Commission.” We want to make a conscious effort to influence our multi-cultural community with the message of Christ.  We are encouraged and blessed as we see families with perfect attendance, including many with perfect punctuality as well!  This can be a challenge to some of our members, but their efforts have been blessed by them seeing God working greatly in their lives and maturing them and seeing family members saved and baptized.

Although the Lord has blessed us with many wonderful volunteers, we have a definite need for someone to dedicate themselves more intensely to expand our church’s outreach in the future.  David and Sara Kreis from Iowa have agreed to join our pastoral staff fall 2013.

Please pray for eight of our young high school graduates who will be going to college in the fall. Four of them are already enrolled in Christian colleges! Pray for the others as they are still seeking God’s direction. We are excited to see the parents of these young people grow spiritually and strengthen their faith as they make plans for the first time.

Adela has continued to help at church with the ladies’ ministry and teaching the children on Wednesday nights and is also teaching English to Latin baseball players. She also homeschools our three young servants: Aaron (12), Abigail (9), and Anna Sofia (8).
